Harvard First Presbyterian Church is looking to fill a part time paid position.  We are looking for an organist/keyboard player. Duties are to play the keyboard at our 9 am service with the Praise band.  Play the organ at the 10:30 service.  Accompany the adult choir at the 10:30 service.  Rehearsals are on Wednesday nights.  Please contact either Laura Lucy at or at 815-560-2660.  Or Kevin Williams at or 815-245-7611.

Fox Valley Presbyterian Church in Geneva, Illinois, is seeking an Interim Pastor of Children and Youth (Interim Director of Children and Youth Programming.)  Our church is an inclusive family of loving servants and faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.  We offer a dynamic array of learning, mission, and fellowship opportunities for more than 200 children and youth ages 3-18.  The position is open immediately and the interim term is expected to last 1-2 years.  

The Interim Pastor of Children and Youth (Interim Director of Children and Youth Programming) will be asked to lead high school and middle school youth group meetings and activities, coordinate and teach Bible Basics and Confirmation classes to middle schoolers, oversee children’s Sunday School programming and visit classes, work with the committees on Children, Middle School and High School ministry, and participate in special events in the life of the church.  Some travel and Saturday and overnight work will be required while supervising youth mission work.

A successful candidate will bring a love of God and passion for sharing that with children and youth.  Experience working with or teaching children and youth is preferred.  We are seeking candidates who are professional, approachable, and relatable leaders; quick learners; and who possess a strong faith aligned with the reformed tradition.
